The brake system of the Frontera car from the middle of 1995 of release was completely processed. Thereof the description of brake system shares on two parts.
Forward wheels of the car have disk brakes. The bracket is formed by a support and the wheel cylinder. Details of a design are described below.
From the middle of 1995 of release of Frontera it is equipped with disk brakes of back wheels. The anti-blocking system is an additional complete set. Forward disks were increased till diameter of 280 mm. Disks have thickness of 26 mm.
Back wheels of the car to the middle of 1995 of release are equipped with drum-type brakes, after the specified term the disk brakes taken from the Monterey car, also let out by Opel firm. Diameter of disks of 313 mm, thickness of 18 mm. On inside of back disks there are blocks of the parking brake.
The brake system contains the vacuum amplifier located between a brake pedal and the main brake cylinder. Razryazheniye undertakes from the engine. The combination of the main brake cylinder to the vacuum amplifier was entered after processing of a design of brake system. The main brake cylinder and the vacuum amplifier are not subject to repair and in case of their damage are replaced.
