Forward driveshaft

GENERAL INFORMATION

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Important remark
Bolts of fastening of the driveshaft to a flange of the main transfer being self-stopped and the second time are not applied.
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish a forward part of the car on supports.
2. Mark both flanges of the driveshaft in relation to the interfaced flanges, as shown.
3. Turn on and beat out bolts of fastening of the driveshaft to flanges of the main transfer and a transfer case.
4. Remove the driveshaft.

At installation the shaft end with a mobile fork should be connected to the forward bridge. Flanges incorporate according to marking. Bolts and nuts should be new. Tighten connection by hand. Further the inhaling is carried out as follows:

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Fastening bolts to a flange of the main transfer of cars of all executions tighten the moment of 75 Nanometers.
2. Fastening bolts to a flange of a transfer case at the petrol engine for the three-door car (MSG transmission) tighten the moment of 35 Nanometers.
3. Fastening bolts to a flange of a transfer case for the five-door car tighten the moment of 75 Nanometers.
