Coupling check without removal

GENERAL INFORMATION

Before removal of coupling with the purpose of its replacement it is necessary to perform the following works for definition of a place of damage.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Start the engine and let's to it work on single turns.

2. Press a pedal of coupling and wait for about 3 pages.

3. Include a backing. If from a transmission noise is audible, it can indicate existence of damages to coupling or in connection of coupling with a flywheel.

For coupling check on pro-slipping the following becomes:

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Sweep on the car some distance so that the transmission and coupling got warm to working temperature.

2. Stop the car and cock the parking brake. Include the third transfer.

3. Press a coupling pedal. Increase number of turns of the engine to 3000-4000 rpm and suddenly release a pedal. If the engine stops at once, coupling works normally.
