GENERAL INFORMATION

External lighting devices

MAIN SWITCH

 The switch has three situation:
(1) = Vykl
(2) = Parking light
(3) = Passing/driving beam
In positions of the switch (2) and (3) also back marker lights and lamps of illumination of registration plate join

ADJUSTMENT OF THE DIRECTION OF BEAMS OF HEAD HEADLIGHTS

Not to stick together drivers of counter vehicles, adjustment of the direction of a bunch of a passing beam of head headlights is executed asymmetrically, with shift of the head mistress towards a roadside (for Russia - will develop to the right). At departure from Russia to the countries with left foreign movement on headlights it is necessary to dress the special guards covering the right sector of a lens in a range 15 °.
On some models of cars of the Opel Frontera brand possibility of correction of the direction of beams of headlights for the purpose of compensation caused by unevenness of loading of the car of distortions is provided.
 Adjustment is made by means of the special switch.

The switch should be established in situation "0" when in the car there is only one driver. Situation "1" corresponds to a situation when all places in salon are occupied; situation "2" - all places are occupied, and in a luggage compartment cargo is placed; Situation "3" (5-door models) - the driver and cargo in a luggage compartment.
The correct adjustment of the direction of beams of head headlights guarantees protection of drivers of counter vehicles against dazzle.

MANAGEMENT OF FORWARD FOG LIGHTS

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Press the button (5) in the panel of the main switch - in it the indicator of green color should light up.
Forward fog lights light up at inclusion of parking fires.
2. For shutdown of fog lights repeatedly press the button (5).

MANAGEMENT OF BACK FOG LIGHTS

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Press the button (4) in the panel of the main switch - in it the indicator of yellow color should light up.
Back fog lights light up at inclusion of head or forward fog lights.
2. For shutdown of fog lights repeatedly press the button (4).

SWITCHING OF LIGHT OF HEAD HEADLIGHTS (NEAR / DISTANT)

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. For switching of light of head headlights pull on itself the lever of the left rod switch of a steering column.
2. After click release the switch lever.
3. Switch procrastination on itself to the first emphasis (without click) allows to make a blinking head headlights (see the following subsection).

BLINKING HEAD HEADLIGHTS

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. For inclusion of a mode of a blinking by head headlights slightly pull the lever of the left rod switch of a steering column on itself.

MANAGEMENT OF INDEXES OF TURNS

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. For inclusion of indexes of turns it is necessary to translate the lever of the left podrulevy switch from an average (in the vertical plane) provisions up (the right turn) or down (the left turn).
2. At a reversing of a steering wheel back after completion of turn there will be an automatic return of the switch to average situation. Remember that operation of the returnable device does not occur at commission of smooth turns to big radius - in this case it is necessary to pull the lever respectively up or down only to the first emphasis, then its return to a starting position will occur after an otpuskaniye.

SWITCH OF THE ALARM SYSTEM

The push-button switch of the alarm system is located on the dashboard under hours, to the right of an instrument guard.

At a nazhimaniye of the button of the switch there is a simultaneous activation of all four indexes of turns which start to blink in unison with a control lamp of the switch.

Rideable fires (for movement in the afternoon)

Rideable fires if those are provided by a car complete set, join at the same time with inclusion of a driving beam of head headlights.

SIGNAL LIGHTS OF MOVEMENT BY THE BACKING

Join automatically at transfer of transmission to a reverse gear at the included ignition.

Internal lighting devices

MANAGEMENT OF THE LAMP FOR READING

Turning on of the lamp and brightness control of its luminescence are made by rotation of ring handles of the potentiometers which have been built in directly in a lens of a plafond.

MANAGEMENT OF ILLUMINATION OF SALON

Forward lamp

Illumination of salon joins automatically when opening any of car doors. After closing of doors lighting is also automatically disconnected with a small delay.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. For lighting inclusion behind closed doors pull on itself the handle (6) of the main switch of lighting devices.

Back lamp

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. For turning on of the lamp in a constant mode shift the polzunkovy switch forward.
2. For turning on of the lamp when opening doors the toddler of the switch should be shifted back.
3. Switch installation in average situation disconnects the lamp.

ILLUMINATION OF THE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT

Illumination of a luggage compartment is made by means of the separate lamp equipped with the polzunkovy switch.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. For turning on of the lamp in a constant mode shift the polzunkovy switch forward.
2. For turning on of the lamp when opening a door of a back the toddler of the switch should be shifted back.
3. Switch installation in average situation disconnects the lamp.

DASHBOARD ILLUMINATION

Illumination of the dashboard is activated at turning on of external lighting devices (see above subsection the Main switch).

LIGHTER AND ASHTRAY ILLUMINATION

This illumination if it is provided by a car complete set, is activated at inclusion of parking fires.

INCLUSION OF THE SOUND SIGNAL

Activation of a horn is made by a nazhimaniye on any of two steering wheels of push-button switches built in in a cross-section spoke.
