Only the order of replaceable keys in dealer office or service center of the Opel company can guarantee serviceable functioning of an electronic immobilizator. Thus the company undertakes to support the guarantee certificates taken up without any essential changes of conditions of the last.
DOOR LOCKS

| 1. For blocking of doors from within simply wring out down buttons of switching off of door locks. At an otzhimaniye of buttons on open forward doors of the car, they will automatically jump out in the top situation after closing of the last that allows to avoid risk of casual locking of keys in salon. |

| 3. Also there is a possibility of locking of locks of forward doors outside without key use. For this purpose wring out down the button of switching off of the lock from the interior of a door, then slam a door, holding lifted its external handle. |

BLOCKING OF BACK DOORS AGAINST OPENING BY THEIR CHILDREN WHO WERE IN SALON

RADIO-FREQUENCY REMOTE CONTROL PANEL DOOR LOCKS / ANTICREEPING ALARM SYSTEM
The radio-frequency panel can be used only:
- for initiation of operation of the central lock
- for turning on/switching off of the anticreeping alarm system
Prevention
Try not to allow excessive moistening of the panel and do not press without necessity of the management button on it.
- Range of operation of the panel makes about 3 m and can be to decrease at existence between it and the car of barriers and/or reflecting subjects. When using the panel direct it on the car.
Initiation of the uniform (central) lock
- Originators of this Management recommend use of a remote control panel for opening and closing of doors of the cars equipped with the central lock.
- When using the panel on it the control light-emitting diode should light up. The single / double blinking of fires of the alarm system testifies to serviceable reception of a signal of the panel by system of remote control by locks / the anticreeping alarm system.
Locking of the central lock

Prevention
For reasons of safety it is not necessary to lock locks of doors of the car at the switch of ignition turned in provision ASS or ON!

Possible causes of failures of the central lock
Refusal of operation of the central lock on a signal of a remote control can occur only on one of the following reasons:
- Panel removal from the car is too great.
- Level of a charge of an element of a food of a remote control fell - make replacement.
- The panel repeatedly also was successfully used for management of activators of the central lock from too big distance - make its reprogramming (see below).
Open a car door by means of a key.
TURNING ON / SWITCHING OFF OF THE ANTICREEPING ALARM SYSTEM
The remote panel serves also for management of system of the anticreeping alarm system if that is established on the car.
Turning on of the anticreeping alarm system

REPLACEMENT OF THE ELEMENT OF A FOOD
Replacement of an element of a food of a remote control should be made when the operation distance on its signals of activators central locks / initiations of system of the anticreeping alarm system starts to be reduced.

1. Open a cover of a compartment of placement of the battery in the panel, having hooked it a screw-driver or other suitable adaptation. Take an element of a food and insert on its place new (the same type) - track, that the battery was inserted on the regular place correctly. Establish into place a cover, having reliably latched it in the panel case. |
Prevention
Replacement of the battery should be made within no more than 3 minutes, otherwise there will be a deleting of the entered program.

REMOTE CONTROL PROGRAMMING

At an overload of system of the central lock as a result of its frequent initiation during a short period food giving on activators will be disconnected for 30 seconds.
ELECTRONIC SYSTEM OF THE IMMOBILIZATION OF THE ENGINE
Immobilizator is used for prevention of start of the engine by the extraneous person. On diesel models it is reached at the expense of blocking of supply of fuel, on petrol - by shutdown of system of ignition.
Thus the immobilizator does not block a door - do not forget to lock locks and to turn on the anticreeping alarm system.

To each car equipped with an immobilizator of the engine, the magnetic card which contains full information on technical parameters of model and consequently it should not be stored in salon is attached. Nevertheless, try to hold always the card near at hand, going behind consultation to dealer office or Opel company service center. |

OPERATIONS PROCEDURE IN DEFAULT IMMOBILIZATORA
If the control lamp of an electronic control system continuously burns with the engine at inclusion of ignition and the engine does not manage to be started, therefore the system of an immobilization failed.

SYSTEM OF THE ANTICREEPING ALARM SYSTEM
The system traces changes of a condition of locks of doors, a cowl, internal volume of salon (except models with soft top), the switch of ignition and own electric chains.
Prevention
Initiation of the anticreeping alarm system can be made only by means of a remote control panel.
Remark
At failure of the remote panel of a door can be opened by a key. Thus there will be an operation of the anticreeping alarm system for which shutdown it is necessary to turn the ignition key in the situation "ASS" or "ON".
THE BUILT-IN SYSTEM OF SELF-DIAGNOSTICS OF THE ANTICREEPING ALARM SYSTEM
After inclusion the system makes short self-diagnostics by duration about 10 seconds.
At detection of malfunction within the first ten seconds there is a blinking of a control light-emitting diode of the ultrasonic sensor of scanning of internal volume of salon - address for consultation in dealer office or Opel company service center.
CONTROL LIGHT-EMITTING DIODE OF THE ANTICREEPING ALARM SYSTEM
On 5-door models and 3-door models of type Hardtop (with a rigid roof) the control light-emitting diode is built in in the ultrasonic sensor attached to a ceiling upholstery from the passenger party of salon (see иллюстр. 2.5).
Continuous burning of a light-emitting diode within the first 10 seconds accompanies a mode an inclusion delay for the period of carrying out self-diagnostics. The light-emitting diode blinking within the first 10 seconds testifies what not all doors are closed, or signals about system refusal.
The light-emitting diode blinking later after initiation of system confirms 10 seconds serviceability of its functioning. Otherwise the system will work, without scanning of internal volume of salon.
Light-emitting diode inclusion for the period of about 1 second confirms system deactivation.
INCLUSION OF ULTRASONIC SCANNING OF INTERNAL VOLUME OF SALON OF THE CAR (5-DOOR MODELS AND 3-DOOR MODELS HARDTOP)

| 1. Close windows, the top hatch (if it is provided), doors (including a back door) and a cowl. |
2. Turn on the anticreeping alarm system.
The control light-emitting diode of the ultrasonic sensor lights up approximately for 10 seconds after system inclusion - activation of ultrasonic scanning of salon did not occur. The light-emitting diode will blink before alarm system shutdown. |

ACOUSTIC AND SOUND SIGNALS OF ANTICREEPING SYSTEM
Ultrasonic sensors can turn on the alarm system no more than three times other sensors turn on the alarm system each time at changes in the corresponding devices.
At operation the system publishes a sound signal a horn siren within 30 seconds, but also for 5 minutes (or other interval of time, depending on requirements of the regional authorities) includes fires of the alarm system.
The alarm system can be disconnected by a nazhimaniye way on the button (2) on a remote control (see иллюстр. 2.2 above), or ignition key turn in the situation "ASS" or "ON".
BACK DOOR (5-DOOR MODELS)

Prevention
At complete opening of a door of a back the back lamp of the car can appear is closed by a spare wheel - in a night-time before opening of a door of a back further the first stationary situation, make sure that the car is well appreciable from a carriageway.

3. The door of a back is fixed in completely open situation by a special emphasis - for door closing at first push it in an opposite direction, then unblock an emphasis, having pulled it on itself. |
| 4. For closing of a back window use the central handle. Lock a back door only having made sure that the back window is completely closed. |

Prevention
In order to avoid hit in salon of the car of the fulfilled gases, a door of a back and its glass during movement should be densely closed. If the last condition on any reason is impracticable, close all other windows and transfer system of ventilation of salon to a mode of supply of external air for what transfer a control lever an air inlet to control panels (right top) in situation (2), and the handle of management of the heater fan (right bottom) in situation 3 or 4 (see below).

Three-door models Airtop are equipped demountable with the panel of a roof both lateral and back glasses.
Prevention
During movement at the removed glasses and open top passengers should not be put out for car dimensions! Do not forget about need of using seat belts!
REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF THE PANEL OF THE ROOF

Car operation with unreliably fixed demountable panel of a roof is inadmissible!

Opening

Removal

1. For removal of lateral glass translate a latch of its clamp to completely open situation, then, holding glass, give a manual bolt with a plastic head which the latch fastens to a body. |
| 2. Accurately take loops from the landing grooves in a forward part of a window aperture - track, that the sealant did not separate from a flange. |
| 3. At installation of glass get loops in the grooves and track correctness of pressing of glass to a sealant of a window aperture. |
| 4. By hand completely tighten a latch bolt. |

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF GLASS OF THE DOOR OF THE BACK

1. Support of glass fasten to a back door four bolts tightened manually with plastic heads. Before turning on bolts, disconnect electroconducting from the motor of a back screen wiper - sockets are located under the upholstery panel. |
| 2. At installation of glass track reliability of pressing it to a sealant of a window aperture - surfaces of glass and a sealant should appear aflush to each other. |
| 3. By hand completely tighten bolts of support and connect electroconducting to the motor of a drive of a screen wiper. |
Prevention
In order to avoid hit in salon of the fulfilled gases the door of a back and its glass during movement should be densely closed (see above).

BACK WINDOWS OF 3-DOOR MODELS OF TYPE SOFTTOP (WITH THE HARMONIOUS ROOF); LOWERING AND PODNIMANIYE OF HARMONIOUS TOP

Models with harmonious top are equipped with demountable back windows. |
The harmonious roof is intended only for protection against bad weather. Also it is not capable to provide injury prevention of passengers at failure. During car movement passengers should be on the seats and to be fastened by seat belts.
REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF LATERAL WINDOWS
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. For removal of a lateral window liberate a tape clamp of an internal part of a window to the upper edge of a window aperture in a roof frame. |
|
2. Release a clamp such as Velkro whom back and top edges of window assembly fasten. |
| 3. Find the lightnings lock in the bottom back corner of a window and completely unbutton "lightning", having released a window to its top forward corner. |
| 4. Shift a window forward for liberation of forward and bottom tape clamps from a directing trench in the body panel. |
| 5. Roll a window film in a roll and lower it in a special pocket at back doors (see below). |
| 6. Repeat procedure for an opposite lateral window. |
|
7. At installation enter into gearing the lightnings lock in the top forward corner of a window aperture and partially clasp "lightning" along the upper edge of window assembly. |
| 8. Fill forward and bottom tape clamps to directing trench of the body panel, having tracked, that the directing groove correctly was combined with a reciprocal uvula in the top part of a trench. |
| 9. Get window assembly inside, under a matter of a roof and completely clasp "lightning". |
| 10. Attach a tape of a clamp of Velkro to a roof material along the top and back edges of a window frame. |
| 11. In summary fix a tape clamp internal edges of window assembly on a roof frame. |
|
REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF BACK GLASS
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
|
1. For removal of a back window lift the valve in the bottom left corner of a window and find the lightnings lock. |
| 2. Completely unbutton "lightning", having disconnected thereby window assembly from a car roof. |
| 3. Open a door of a back and liberate a fixing bar of a window from basic arms in door racks. |
|
4. Take a window film from a trench in a fixing bar and return a bar on the regular place to basic arms. |
| 5. Roll a film window and enclose it in a special pocket on a back door. |
Prevention
In order to avoid hit in salon of the fulfilled gases the door of a back and its window during movement should be densely closed (see above).
|
| 6. Installation is made upside-down. |
| 7. If there are problems with a "lightning" zastegivaniye, weaken a tension of a material of a roof, having released for this purpose two latches in its forward part (see the following subsection). |

LOWERING OF HARMONIOUS TOP
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Remove lateral windows (see above). In extraction of a back window there is no need.
The collapsible top is attached to the lower part of the panel of a roof by two latches which handles are equipped with blokirator. |
|
2. For an otpuskaniye of latches, shift blokirator in the direction shown on an illustration, then turn handles, having lowered them down. |
3. Shift top made of cloth back and down, having enclosed a frame in an emphasis on a roller bar.
Watch to pinching a hand frame. |

4. Fix a frame from both parties belts, having reliably latched their buckles. |
|
PODNIMANIYE OF HARMONIOUS TOP

| 1. For a podnimaniye of a harmonious roof unbutton buckles of safety belts, lift a roof and pull it forward. |
|
2. Latch clamps of the panel of a roof and turn handles of latches up, having reliably blocked locks. |

4. To weaken a tension of harmonious top made of cloth it is possible by rotation by the equipped notch of the coupling of a frame. |

POCKETS FOR STORAGE REMOVED LATERAL AND BACK GLASSES

2. Slightly roll a film of a back window, having fixed a roll two safety thongs and enclose it in a door pocket. |

OPENING AND COWL CLOSING

1. For opening of a cowl pull on itself the handle of an otpuskaniye of its lock, located under the dashboard from the driver's party of the car. |

4. For a cowl podnimaniye to the touch find under its first line (a little on the right) a latch of the lock and pull it up. |

5. The cowl abroach is fixed by means of the special persistent bar laid along a front grille. For bar fixing on a cowl from the bottom party of the last the special groove is provided. |
| 6. Before closing a cowl, densely fix a persistent bar in the holder. |
| 7. Close a cowl smoothly, at the last stage (when there will be a gap of 150-300 mm) having pressed down it in the weight. |

Track reliability of fixing of a cowl a lock latch.

EXPANSION OF VOLUME OF THE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT (3-DOOR MODELS)

1. The volume of a luggage compartment can be expanded at the expense of folding forward a back seat of the car.
Levers of release of a seat are located from both parties of a back. |

2. Wring out one of levers forward and lower a seat back down, having laid it on a pillow. |
| 3. The back party of a pillow of a seat fastens to a salon floor the clamp located on the center. |
|
4. For an otpuskaniye of a pillow lift the clamp lever, then overturn seat assembly forward, having got it under backs of forward seats, and fix it in this situation by the latch located on a floor. |
|
5. For return of a seat to a starting position release a latch of his holder. |
| 6. Lower a seat on a floor clamp and densely press it down to click. |
| 7. The lever of a clamp should settle down now parallel to a floor. |
Prevention
The clamp of a seat serves as anchor knot for fastening of back seat belts and consequently should be reliably latched.

8. Return a back of a back seat to regular situation where it should be latched automatically. |
|
EXPANSION OF VOLUME OF THE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT (5-DOOR MODELS)

| 1. The volume of a luggage compartment can be expanded at the expense of folding forward separate back seats of the car. |
| 2. Remove head restraints (see below). |
| 3. Latch buckles of back seat belts. |
| 4. For folding of back seats release their pillows, having pulled belt clamps. |
|
5. Lift a pillow in vertical situation, having pressed it to backs of forward seats (see illustrations 2.33 and 2.34). |
|
6. Having wrung out buttons, release clamps in the top part of backs and combine the last forward, having laid horizontally closely to vertically lifted pillow. |
| 7. At return of back seats to regular situation densely wring out backs back to a zashchelkivaniye of their clamps. |
| 8. Track, that seat belts did not appear are clamped under backs. |
|
Prevention
Before returning in a starting position a pillow, delay back seat belts to prevent their wiping or a casual jamming.
|
9. Track, that the pillow was reliably latched in regular situation. |
|
FRAMES FOR LUGGAGE FASTENING
The luggage compartment of the car is equipped with special eyes for reliable fixing of transported cargo.
LIGHTER
At the included ignition drown the handle of the lighter which after a sufficient warming up of an element itself will jump out back.
The nest of the lighter can be used for connection of the auxiliary electric equipment equipped with the socket of the corresponding type.
Prevention
The maximum capacity of consumption of the such equipment should not exceed 240 W!
Do not connect to a lighter nest the equipment developing a current, such as food elements, chargers, etc.!
The connected auxiliary electric equipment in order to avoid failure of an onboard network should meet the requirements of the DIN VDE 40 839 standard.
ASHTRAYS
Ashtrays are intended only for a stryakhivaniye in them cigaret ashes and should not be filled with any inflammable garbage.
Forward ashtray
