Removal and installation of semi-axes

 Drum-type brakes

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Open a tank of brake liquid.
2. Put on an opening polyethylene
3. Again close a tank. It interferes with a liquid effluence when opening brake system.
4. Turn out a bolt from a brake drum and remove a drum.
5. Disconnect a brake hose and a cable of a drive of the parking brake from a reverse side of a brake board. Details of work are described in Chapter 9.
6. Unscrew bolts and remove a brake board and a lock plate.
7. Take out a semi-axis together with a brake board from the bridge.
9. Installation of a semi-axis is carried out in sequence, return to removal.
10. From a reverse side of a brake board the epiploon which it is necessary to grease sits.
11. Fastening bolts evenly tighten the moment of 95 Nanometers.
12. Establish the other removed details according to instructions.
13. Remove air from brake system.

Disk brakes

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a support with directing, a washer, brake shoes.
2. Disconnect a cable of a drive of the parking brake as it is described in Head Driveshafts, the main transfer
3. The following work is carried out according to an illustration.
4. Turn out a bolt (1) and take out the sensor of angular speed of ABS.
5. After that unscrew four nuts (2) and take out a semi-axis together with the case of the bearing and a brake board from a bridge sleeve.
6. Watch to damaging an epiploon in a bridge sleeve. The epiploon is shown on иллюстр. 6.2.
7. Carefully clear the interfaced surfaces of a sleeve of the bridge and the bearing case.

Installation of a semi-axis is carried out as follows:

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Insert a semi-axis with the case of the bearing and a brake board into a bridge sleeve.
2. The interfaced surface of a sleeve or the case of the bearing is greased with hermetic.
3. Screw four nuts (2) shown on an illustration, with washers.
4. Evenly tighten the moment of 75 Nanometers.
5. Other works are carried out in sequence, return to removal.
