GENERAL INFORMATION

Below-mentioned instructions belong to the engine of 2.0 l till 1995 of release and to the engine of 2.4 l

Removal and installation of the distributor of ignition

The distributor of ignition of the engine of 2.0 l to the middle of 1995 of release

 

Both engines have the distributor of ignition which is established as is shown in иллюстр. for the engine of 2.0 l. The distributor acts in film as follows:

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Unscrew screws and uncover the distributor together with cables.
2. Now remove the distributor.

The distributor in sequence is established, to return to removal. Screws of fastening of a cover grease with means for carving fixing.
At the engine of 2.4 l the distributor acts in film and established as follows:

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Uncover, take out a begunok and protection against condensation water.
2. Turn the engine so that the index of the distributor looked at marking of the first cylinder on an external edge of the case of the distributor. For control check, whether the index looks at a control opening on a flywheel ball.
3. Unscrew fastening of a plate and take out the distributor from a cover of a drive of the mechanism of distribution.
4. At installation insert the distributor into the case of a drive of the mechanism of distribution and check, that its index looked at a label of the first cylinder on an external edge of the case of the distributor.
5. Other works on installation are carried out in sequence, return to removal.

Removal and installation of the inductive pulse sensor

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. The sensor is shown on иллюстр. (OHC engine). Removal is carried out usually. At the engine of 2.4 l расстыкуйте shtekerny connection at a heater hose, having remembered its arrangement. Unscrew a bolt on the case of the oil pump and take out the sensor.
