GENERAL INFORMATION

The valve of removal of the fulfilled gases (1) is from a reverse side of the engine. The hose of low pressure joins the union (2).

The block of a retsirkulyatsiya of the fulfilled gases

Consists of the electromagnetic valve (1) and the device of a retsirkulyatsiya (2).

The system of a retsirkulyatsiya of the fulfilled gases turns on the mechanical valve of removal of the fulfilled gases, in one knot with which there is an electromagnetic valve. Besides there are channels of removal of the fulfilled gases. The system is regulated by the engine control unit. The system arrangement for the engine of 2.0 l is shown on the first иллюстр. At the engine of 2.2 l the system of regeneration of the fulfilled gases is located similarly from a reverse side of a head of cylinders.
The system of a retsirkulyatsiya of the fulfilled gases works as follows:
Depending on service conditions the control unit the engine turns on the electromagnetic valve that in turn leads to pressure decrease on the gate of removal of the fulfilled gases. The gate thus opens. The certain amount of the fulfilled gases arrives on an engine entrance, mixing up with soaked-up air.
The fulfilled gases reduce the content of oxygen in soaked-up air that leads to decrease in temperature of combustion in cylinders. Decrease in temperature of combustion reduces the content of harmful oxides of nitrogen in fulfilled gases.
If the electromagnetic valve or the pipeline between the valve and the control unit fails, on the dashboard the signaling device lights up. Nature of malfunction is determined by the corresponding code in diagnostics block.
If malfunction has long character, the control unit switches retsirkulyatsiya system to emergency operation.
