Peredny Bridge

GENERAL INFORMATION

For performance described below works lift and establish a forward part of the car on supports. Mark the provision of wheels concerning naves and remove wheels, having unscrewed fastening bolts.

CONSOLIDATION OF THE CASE OF DIFFERENTIAL

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Substitute capacity under a reducer case, turn out a drain stopper and merge oil.
2. Remove a reducer case as it is described below.
3. Carefully clear interfaced surfaces of a case and a casing of a semi-axis and grease them with hermetic.
4. Again establish a reducer case (see below).

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF THE CASE OF THE REDUCER

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Substitute under the bridge capacity, turn out a stopper of a drain opening and merge oil.
2. Remove the bridge and drives as it will be separately described.
3. Unscrew bolts and disconnect a reducer case from a casing of semi-axes
4. Collect following oil in capacity.
5. Carefully clear interfaced surfaces of a case and a casing of semi-axes.
6. Grease them with hermetic.
7. Insert a reducer case into a casing of semi-axes.
8. Fix it bolts. At three-door models (the bridge has designation of 9 HU) bolts of fastening tighten the moment of 28 Nanometers. At five-door models (bridge designation 12HU) the moment of 54 Nanometers.
9. Establish the bridge and drives as it will be described below.
10. Fill in to the forward bridge oil to the bottom edge of an opening.

EPIPLOON REPLACEMENT

Not to break reducer adjustment before an otvorachivaniye of a nut of fastening of a leading gear wheel it is necessary to measure the moment of its rotation by means of a dynamometer. As at installation of a driving flange of a leading gear wheel it is easy to draw a considered nut and by that to damage a reducer, it is recommended to make epiploon replacement in a repair truck. The epiploon is replaced at emergence of leaks.

REMOVAL AND PEREDNY BRIDGE INSTALLATION

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Unscrew four bolts and nuts of fastening of a cross-piece of a forward suspension bracket.
2. Disconnect the forward driveshaft from a flange of a leading gear wheel.
3. Remove both lobbies of the lever of a suspension bracket together with a nave of a wheel and a rotary fist as it is described above.
4. For this purpose disconnect suspension bracket knot at suspension bracket levers around an arrangement of spherical hinges.
5. Disconnect the central spherical hinges from the lever of a steering drive and from the intermediate lever by means of a stripper.
6. Bring under the bridge center the garage lift and disconnect the bridge from the chassis. In a back part bolts and washers are applied to fastening of the bridge, in a lobby bolts, nuts and washers.
7. Slowly lower the bridge on the lift and roll out it.

In need of the plug of a suspension bracket can be выпрессованы and are replaced.

Installation

Installation of the bridge is carried out in sequence, return to removal.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Bolts and bolts/nut of fastening tighten the moment of 152 Nanometers.
2. Rotary fists, cross-section levers are, etc. established according to the instructions provided above.
3. Bolts of fastening of a cross-piece the suspension brackets shown on an illustration, tighten the moment of 75 Nanometers.
4. In summary check oil level in a case of a reducer and if necessary add.

REPAIR OF THE MAIN TRANSFER

Repair of the main transfer should be carried out in a repair truck. As the repaired differential is established into place without any adjustments, in repair only the main transfer can be handed over.
